About Viva

The brain that connects everything.

For the smart, tired brain that's been told to "just try harder" for twenty years.

Viva ADHD is an independent education project about how the ADHD brain actually works — the mechanism behind the struggle, and a real move you can use tonight. Every explanation is built on peer-reviewed research, written to make you feel seen instead of broken, and clear that it's education, not medical advice.

Why Viva exists

Most ADHD "tips" quietly assume the problem is you. Viva starts from the opposite place. ADHD is a real, recognized disability that causes real impairment — and understanding the mechanism is what finally lets you stop blaming your character for how your brain is wired. We explain the why, in plain words, from the actual science — then hand you something you can do tonight. No lectures. No shame. No "you've got this, queen."

You're not bad at this. You've been flying it with no instruments.

How we try to get it right

Viva is health content, and we treat it like it.

What we believe about ADHD

ADHD is a real disability — recognized under the ADA and FEHA — and the impairment is real, not a personality quirk or a willpower problem. Accommodations and treatment aren't hacks or excuses; they're legitimate needs. Understanding the mechanism doesn't shrink the difficulty. It just moves the blame off you and onto something you can finally work with.

Who's behind Viva

Viva is a small, independent project — not a clinic, not a big publisher. Just real research, a clear voice, and a lot of care about getting it right. We keep the focus on the work, not on us.

Viva is educational, not medical advice — Viva's a squirrel, not a doctor. This is the science of how ADHD brains tend to work, plus what helps. If you're struggling, a real clinician is worth it.
